2026 Winter Workshops (Ages 7-18)

Keep dancing, improving, and exploring new styles this winter break!

Join us at Northern Nevada Ballet Academy for three exciting days of dance, technique, and artistic development!

Designed for dancers ages 7–18, our Winter Workshops offer a wonderful opportunity to stay active during winter break, strengthen ballet technique, and explore a variety of dance styles in a positive and encouraging environment.

Students will be divided into two age-appropriate groups, allowing our instructors to tailor classes and activities to the dancers' ages and experience levels.

Each day will begin with a ballet technique class, focusing on proper alignment, coordination, strength, flexibility, and musicality. Dancers will also have the opportunity to learn and practice classical ballet variations, developing their artistry, performance quality, and understanding of classical repertoire.

Following the lunch break, students will enjoy a rotating selection of dance classes, including lyrical, contemporary, hip-hop, jazz, tap, and musical theatre. These classes will introduce dancers to different movement styles, challenge their versatility, and encourage creative expression.

Throughout the workshops, our instructors will emphasize proper technique, individual improvement, confidence, and the joy of dancing. Whether students are looking to refine their ballet skills, discover a new dance style, or simply spend their winter break doing something they love, our Winter Workshops offer a fun and rewarding experience.

Space is limited! We encourage families to register early and join us for three days of movement, learning, and inspiration at Northern Nevada Ballet Academy.
