Our Winter Workshop for ages 3–6 invites young dancers into three days of imagination, movement, and holiday magic. Each day features a themed adventure inspired by The Nutcracker, blending simple ballet “technique,” creative role play, story-time, crafts, and a short performance for families.

Dancers begin each morning with sign-in and coloring pages before gathering for a themed story that sets the tone for the day. Gentle warm-ups and age-appropriate technique help them learn posture, coordination, and musical movement. Fun role-play activities allow dancers to imagine themselves as snowflakes, sweets, or dreamland characters.

A special craft each day brings the theme to life, from Snow Globe ornaments to Sugarplum teacup decorations and pointe-shoe ornaments. Young dancers then learn a short dance inspired by scenes from The Nutcracker, such as “Snow,” “Sugarplum Fairy,” or “Winter Wonderland.” After lunch, they enjoy a ballet film clip related to the day’s theme.

Each afternoon ends with a sweet mini-performance, where parents and special adults are invited to watch their dancer shine. With cozy pajama day, crafts, storytelling, dancing, and joyful holiday spirit, our Winter Workshop creates a magical experience your little one will remember.
